Join our Roads and Drains team and take on a vital role in one of our asphalt crews. In this hands-on position, you'll contribute to essential road maintenance and repair operations, ensuring the safety and quality of our local infrastructure.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- performing road remediation tasks including edge repairs, road failure rectification and pothole patching
- operating a variety of hand tools and mechanical equipment
- handling asphalt truck operations and assist with driving duties as needed

About you
Ideally you will have demonstrated recent experience in road maintenance or construction. We'll also need you to have:
- a current truck licence (medium rigid - MR class or higher)
- a Construction Induction card - or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- ability to proficiently use hand tools and mechanical equipment as relevant to the position
- strong teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset and;
- solid communication skills to effectively communicate with others
