As our Senior Technical Officer Traffic Systems, you will assist in planning, design and operations of the traffic signal network and other intelligent transport systems (ITS) as it relates to the transport network to ensure a safe, efficient and optimised transport network to meet the needs of the community within the City of Moreton Bay area.
- provide technical advice and input into the development of a fully optimised and coordinated traffic signal network using the Streams ITS Platform
- review and provide technical advice and support into traffic signal designs to ensure safe, efficient and context sensitive intersection operations for all road users

About you
We are seeking someone with experience in traffic signal planning operations using Streams ITS Platform and knowledge of best practice intelligent transport solutions and traffic signal technology.
You will have;
- the ability in applying investigative, analytical and research skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings associated of intelligent transport systems devices including but not limited to traffic signals
- experience in preparing and presenting technical reports and proposals.
- strong relationship management skills with the ability to work in a positive team environment communicating and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
