The Details:

  • Permanent Full Time| 9 day fortnight
  • $76,711 pa + 12% super (level 2)
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Redcliffe

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Business Support Officer within our Art Gallery team, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

Reporting to the Galleries Coordinator, you will provide general administrative assistance to the Art Gallery Team and broader Cultural Services branch when required. 

You will have the opportunity to; 

  • Prepare incoming and outgoing correspondence and timely responses to requests
  • Assist with the preparation of briefing notes, presentations and other business documents
  • Assist with the department’s finance and procurement functions
  • Assist in the review and update of resources including template letters, forms and customer service reference information
  • Assist in the review of departmental processes to improve efficiency and service delivery outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders that will increase the effectiveness of the Cultural Services department.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment in order to achieve a high performance, continuous improvement and customer focused culture.

About you

We are seeking someone with proven experience in providing administrative support and knowledge of galleries would be favourable. With strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, you will be confident working independently while delivering high‑quality outcomes.

You will bring:

  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills to balance priorities and deliver results effectively
  • A commitment to providing quality customer service and contributing to a positive workplace culture
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and the ability to learn council’s corporate systems
